Save as one file

Can you make it so when I save a file it saves as a new file? I don't know if this is a bug or not so I am putting in under Share An Idea.

I'm also experiencing this problem. I start the application by double clicking a template I created myself. Regardless of whether I press Ctrl + S, choose File > Save or choose File > Save as... I always get a File Dialog where I have to re-select the file.

This is on Windows 7.

If you are creating a new file based on a template, it will ask you to create a new filename the first time you hit Ctrl-S. However, if you are editing a file with extension ccsb, it should by default overwrite the file using the same filename.

Is this not the behavior you are experiencing? If not, what is your operating system, and can you provide instructions on how to reproduce the problem?

This is not what I have been experiencing. I am on a windows 10 operating system. I have a file with the ccsb extension and am hitting Ctrl + S and a file explorer box will pop up wanting to save as a new file.

Unfortunately I still can't reproduce this. I just opened the latest version of Card Creatr Studio on my Windows 10 computer, and I was able to edit a file and save it with the same name without dialog boxes.

I am using version 1.2.1 and the problem is still occurring. Here is the link to a video of whats happening. I have already saved the file once and am saving it again with one added card. https://youtu.be/WeBaZOkU_5o

Hmm, there is already a "Save As" option in the File menu.  Can you be more specific with what you are looking for?

When I hit save or Ctrl + S it asks me to save as a new file. I would like it to replace the file with the same name like Microsoft word or a bunch of other programs. The same thing happens when I hit the save button.
